Talk:Power illusion

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

It's good to see this going down on paper (metaphorically speaking, of course). We have more flags now than ever before: administrator, bureaucrat, checkuser, steward, oversight, developer, et al; the list goes on. Even as we speak, the "trusted" flag has been brought in on enwiki, which serves two purposes: (a) people don't have to accept explicit responsibility for reverting another user, as they needn't physically confirm it; and (b), more Power illusion is created.

This is a great essay, and one I for one fully support.
