Codes

When the requests has been done, the rule was that it could be invented a code with the language family and three other letters. Who have decided to change it? How can you justify the existing Wikipedias that use invented codes?84.223.87.152 21:05, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

This was changed in the policy drafted by the language subcommittee, which was set up to correct a number of failings in the previous process run entirely by volunteer editors. Existing projects unfortunately cannot be retroactively modified to use standard codes without breaking links. —{admin} Pathoschild 21:03:49, 06 March 2007 (UTC)

User:Mausolo has been blocked on it.wikipedia for an edit war about Communes' Project, not about Insubric one, nor about Canzese dialect (even if Codice1000 proposed Canzo [town] as example for the problem of personalities in communes' articles). Then, admin AmonSûl said: "Una precisazione per quanto riguarda la discussione sul progetto comuni. La discussione l'aveva aperta Mausolo, io l'ho poi usata per radunarvi tutte le varie opinioni e successivamente è intervenuto Codice1000, mentre Mausolo non è più intervenuto. The discussion was opened by Mausolo, I have used it to collect various opinion and subsequently Codice1000 has intervented [on invite of AmonSul, n.d.r.], while Mausolo has no longer intevented. I don't say about other circumstances, but in this technically there wasn't an uncorrect use of sockpuppet.
