@Keegan (WMF): is this page still used? I was going to add this blog post to the next newsletter edition, but it looks like the rest of the page is stuck somewhere in 2018. --Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 12:28, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Lucas Werkmeister:The page is not currently used, as we're past the quarterly updates phase and that's what I was basing newsletters on. What we can do instead is send a MassMessage to the group that is signed up for this newsletter with links to your blog and the series I'm writing on SDC. How does that sound? @Keegan (WMF): That sounds great :) your series is still ongoing, right? --Lucas Werkmeister (talk) 18:47, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Lucas Werkmeister: still ongoing, yes. Two more parts to write, should be finished up next week. Then we'll contact people about the posts. Keegan (WMF) (talk) 19:32, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
What is current, updated source of news about SDC? --Wargo (talk) 18:48, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Wargo: news, updates, and other information is mainly being distributed using the Global message delivery/Targets/Structured Commons focus group. As we moved into releasing features this year, we started distributing information piece-by-piece as it happened, rather than quarterly digests. Signing up for that list should still get you relevant information in a timely manner is it goes out. "Less important" information is still posted on the SDC talk page. Oh and of course almost everything of relevance gets posted to (English language) Commons Village pump, often with a mailing list post as well. So if you watch the VP, you're likely getting information. Keegan (WMF) (talk) 20:53, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
