Kopimi license

I hope it is ok to respond to one of the questions without being a member of the board:

Could KOPIMI license be added to Wikimedia Commons as acceptable?

This license is available since 2007 at Wikimedia Commons, just use {{Kopimi}} as license tag. An overview of supported license tags at Commons can be found here and we are always open to new licenses that can be considered to be free. --AFBorchert (talk) 15:19, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

WCA question

Without intending to speak for the present board, the question "What is the WMF's view on the Chapter Association? Could it help improving communication and vice-versa trust?" was to some extent answered in this blog post we published in April after the Berlin conference:

"hopes are high that the WCA will make a huge contribution to help chapters develop, and lift the relationship between WMF and chapters to a new level. The Foundation congratulates the chapters and looks forward to working with the new organization."
