Children care[edit]
Due in particular to insurance, staff and meals, children care has a specific cost and a limited number of availability. The easiest solution would be to add it as a separate cost within the registration process. It would be cool to have Wikimedia Foundation to support it as a sort of scholarship. - I'm still pleased to see this as part of your consideration. It's something that many of us have pushed for but has been forgotten about in the past. I think the idea of having an extra "x amount for child care" (at an affordable) rate is a nice idea. If WMF can't sponsor it, perhaps Ada Initiative or some other women's organizations can help fun it. Heck, I think a few of us WikiWomen who can afford to sponsor others with children (I'm a child free woman but I care deeply about this) would be possible, too. - At the moment those are the planned activities for children. we are focusing right now on the accommodation but as soon as i have an idea of the budget it would be great to look for support. In general the activities for children will be really important not only for the participants coming from abroad but specifically for the volunteers. we are using existing services so it should not be particularly expensive. i like your idea. it would be great to make this initiative something a little more shared and framed within a broader approach. thanks. --iopensa (talk) 09:39, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Budget new plan[edit]
Compared to the last application in Spring 2014, we are re-editing the budget to provide an overview of the minimum costs of Wikimania Esino Lario 2016. We want to show how much we need to actually make the event. This assures the feasibility of the event and guarantees its implementation. --iopensa (talk) 09:02, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
