Think twice, please[edit]

I would be happy if those who have voted against this proposal please could think again about the consequences of their vote and re-consider it. The Wikimedia movement currently is about to be redesigned. Chapters have been the first Wikimedia organisations in many places and fields which means that they have gathered experience which now is needed in other places, too. So it would be quite desirable to create a common framework for handing on this experience to the newcomers to the Wikimedia family, viz. thematic organisations and user groups. I think this would best be done within a common organisation that is open to all Wikimedia organisations.--Aschmidt (talk) 15:14, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

+1. I totally agree. We have to accept (and I happily do) that the environment of Wikimedia organisations has changed. Chapters and Thorgs are treated equally. So why should we draw a line between those? --Mglaser (talk) 15:23, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
