Arne Klempert, born in 1972, living near Frankfurt am Main, Germany
I joined the German Wikipedia in 2003 and was its press contact for several years (2004-2008). In 2004 I co-founded Wikimedia Deutschland and acted as its vice-chairman and later as Executive Director until 2008. I was also part of the organization team (local coordinator) for the very first Wikimania conference in 2005. From 2009 until 2012 I served on the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation, holding one of the Chapter-selected Board seats. Currently I am advisor to the Affiliations committee.
