the scope matters.[edit]

as far as i can see, things will go like this after lzh.wikisource established:

there will be a big discussion to define the scope.
- the most talked-about topic would be if old chinese (according to your definition, works before ~500 BCE) will be included;
- other discussions will go around modern mixure of mandarin and old chinese;
- also ancient mixures such as 元杂剧 and so on.
after you finish the discussion, entries that you want will be exported from zh.wikisource, and entries that you don't want will remain in zh.wikisource. 'dustbin' is a proper word to describe this situation.

if you insist that zh.wikisource will not be a dustbin, you should finish the scope of inclusion, and make zh.wikisource agree with your scope, before you start your wiki.

元雜劇 will not be included because it's Mandarin Chinese not Literary.
I didn't say the Chinese before ~500 BCE is Literary Chinese.
What's "old Chinese"??? I'm sorry, I don't know.

But should I give the inclusion before I develop French Wikisource. The inclusion discussion is just for few articles. If they wonder the inclusion, they can learn some knowledge about language, not ask me. I am not the authority of the linguistics community, and my words are not as rigorous as those linguists. Please remove "竹書紀年" example[edit]

In your one comment of Requests_for_new_languages/Wikisource_Literary_Chinese#Tentative_close, it seems that you mentioned this as "Literary Chinese", that's wrong point, those series of pages are written in Korean mixed script (Q711797), it's a kind of Korean texts, not Chinese texts. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 00:59, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
