위키여성캠프 2023은 위키미디어 운동의 여러 국가에서 온 자신을 여성으로 식별한 개인, 해당 커뮤니티의 리더, 젠더 격차 주제에 대한 강력한 경험 및 입증된 참여를 가진 개인으로 모일 것입니다. 올해의 주제는 "맵 업, 라이즈 업"입니다.
이 제안은 2019년 위키마니아-스톡홀름에서 발표되었습니다. 초기 제안이 설계되었고 2020년에 보조금 요청이 제출되었습니다. 코로나19 범유행으로 인해 이벤트를 조직할 수 없었습니다. 이 이벤트는 현재 상태, 과제 및 요구 사항에 대한 새로운 검토와 함께 동일한 제안을 다시 시작하는 것입니다.
캠프의 목표
우리는 참가자들이 미래에 탐구할 수 있는 풍부한 경험과 양질의 정보, 아이디어 및 협업을 제공할 계획입니다. 우리는 다양한 배경을 가진 여성들을 기조연설, 프레젠테이션, 워크숍, 토론을 아우르는 3일간의 프로그램에 참여시키기 위해 최선을 다하고 있습니다. 이 프로그램은 성별 격차 해소에 중점을 두고 운동에서 여성의 역할과 미래에 초점을 맞춥니다. 성별 격차는 확인된 우선 순위 중 하나이므로 이 플랫폼은 진행 중인 이니셔티브를 확장하는 데 필요한 조치와 지원을 계획하는 데 도움이 될 것입니다.
우리는 공유할 많은 경험과 함께 전 세계의 폭넓은 대표성을 갖기를 희망합니다. 멘토십이 인도 여성 위키미디어인 포스트 "여성을 위한 위키 여성 웰빙" 및 "여성 훈련 교육자" 프로그램에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤기 때문에, 우리는 전 세계적으로 유사하거나 보완적인 프로그램을 통해 운동 지도자 간의 협력을 위한 연결 및 멘토십 기회를 촉진하고자 합니다. 이를 통해 전 세계 여성의 강력한 네트워크를 구축하고 보다 영향력 있고 상호 이익이 되며 다각적인 활동 또는 프로그램을 설계하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대됩니다.
사전 코로나19 설문조사 결과에서 편집자 대표성, 리더십, 온라인 콘텐츠의 성별 격차와 같은 주제에 대한 선호도가 분명한 대다수의 커뮤니티의 기대치를 명확하게 확인할 수 있었습니다. 이와 함께 선호하는 다른 관심 영역은 편집자(여성) 채용 및 유지, 괴롭힘 방지 조치, 효율적이고 반응이 빠른 지원 그룹 만들기였습니다. 프로그램 결과 평가, 설문 조사 분석, 도구 등과 같은 고급 위키 교육도 제공합니다.
그 설문조사는 전 세계 여성 위키미디어인들이 직면한 공통적인 문제를 강조했으며, 행동 계획의 변화를 필요로 합니다. 설문 조사의 통계는 위키미디어 - 2030 운동 전략 프로세스에 따라 향후 활동 계획 및 설계를 지원합니다.
우리는 다양한 배경과 전문 지식을 가진 같은 생각을 가진 사람들, 위키미디어 운동 및 기타 가맹단체 조직 내의 사람들로 구성된 그룹을 만들고자 합니다. 그들은 서로에게서 배울 수 있고 이벤트를 단순히 경험, 성과 및 문제에 대한 토론으로 제한하지 않고 또한 콘텐츠와 운동의 성별 격차를 줄이기 위한 새로운 활동과 액션플랜을 설계하여 범위를 어떻게 확장할 수 있을지에 초점을 맞춰 미래를 위한 브레인스토밍을 합니다.
