Rejected; murders can go on wikipedia or on Wikinews. Murders are most (if not all) of the time notable. Notability is required and Wikipedia's standards seem correct for murders and is needed for a "quality control". ~~EBE123~~ talkContribs 00:08, 7 May 2012 (UTC) |

Murders are an area of deep interest for some people. Wikipedia does a good job of recording notable murders and disappearances; but obviously many less notable incidents are deleted. Wikimurder would record murders, disappearances and other related incidents that got national or international coverage.
The wiki would record the the pertinent facts using much the same guidelines as wikipedia, just with lesser notability requirements.
The name is potentially a little weak but I can't think of a better one for now :) Something that covers the whole genre in a more neutral way would be nice.
