This page contains a list of the largest Wikipedias under the auspices of the Wikimedia Foundation for various languages. Test Wikipedias are listed at the Wikimedia Incubator Wiki project.

This list of Wikipedias is based on the List of articles every Wikipedia should have as a sample. For every Wikipedia, the number of articles in this sample is counted (based on interwiki links from the English Wikipedia). The articles are divided in three classes: "absent" (i.e. non-existing; size = 0), "stubs" (size in characters inferior to 10,000), "articles" (size between 10,000 and 30,000) and "long articles" (size superior to 30,000). The average size of the articles in the sample is also calculated (considering non-existing articles as having a size of 0). Finally, a score is computed, based on the following formula: score = stubs + articles*4 + long.articles*9.
