Provide a search facility for office documents (like .doc)

Unrelated to Wikimedia projects

• Problem:

By now searches in e.g. .doc files is not possible.

• Who would benefit:

Anyone up to the wikia software base, where it would be of additional benefit due to enhanced possiblities to use wikia for business applications.

• Proposed solution:

An internal tools is needed to decipher (proprietary) data formats. There is an abandoned project/version somewhere (saw it some years ago).

Per my comment above, I've archived this proposal as it's clearly not related to Wikimedia projects. We're not enterprise users and you can't even upload files in proprietary office formats here.
