Deutsch: 14.11.2008 01239 Dresden-Prohlis: Gamigstraße 24 und 26 / Ecke Prohliser Straße (GMP: 51.007277,13.793259). Das einstige Gehöft des Bauernastronomen Johann Georg Palitzsch. Er wurde im Jahr 1758 durch die Wiederentdeckung des Halleyschen Kometen berühmt und lieferte einen der schlagenden Beweise der Newtonschen Gravitationstheorie. Heute ist hier das Kulturzentrum Palitzschhof. Vom Dorf Prohlis blieb nur der heutige Palitzschhof erhalten. Das aus der Mitte des 19. Jh. stammende Wohn- und Stallhaus ist das einzige erhaltene Bauerngut in Prohlis. Es wurde 2003 - 2006 saniert. [DSCN35236.TIF]20081114245DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
