For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Leipzig, Turn- und Sporttreffen, Jugendrotkreuz
Zentralbild Leipzig 23.7.1957 Bonjack "Wer ist der beste und schnellste Gesundheitshelfer?" Überall, wo was los ist, da sind auch die unermüdlichen Helfer des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes anwesend und greifen sofort ein, wenn jemand eine Hilfe nötig hat. Während des Turn- und Sporttreffens der Jugend in Leipzig führten 15 Mannschaften des DRK einen besonderen "Wettkampf" durch. Die Besten und Schnellsten im Gesundheitshelfereinsatz sollten ermittelt werden. Den Übungen wohnten u.a. der Vizepräsident des Roten Kreuzes der CSR, Franz Janda, und der Stellvertreter des Generalsekretärs des DRK Helmut Geßner bei. UBz: (vlnr): Günther Koch, Schiedsrichter, Klaus Schmidt, Schiedsrichter und Heinz Leimbach, Stellvertreter des Vorsitzenden des Bezirkskomitees Erfurt, werten den Wettkampf aus. |
