Nederlands: Clarges (Cornelis de Montigny de), zoon van Gilles de Clarges, Heer van Ellemes of Eslems in Henegouwen en van diens tweede vrouw Wilhelmina Coper, werd den 12den Julij 1599 geboren. Hij was gedurende vele jaren Agent der Algemeene Staten te Calais, en overleed te Haarlem in April 1683. Hij was Ridder der orde van St. Michiel en huwde in 1633 te 's Hage met Sara Parret, die te Haarlem in 1681 overleed, na hem elf kinderen te hebben geschonken. Een zoon daarvan volgt.
