Summary

Description Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, La Aldehuela, provincia de Ávila, Castilla y León, España. Iglesia: posee una sola nave con una cabecera de forma rectangular más estrecha que la planta de la nave y cubierta con cúpulas en el interior. Hay un interesante púlpito con peldaños labrados. El retablo es de mediados del siglo XVIII, realizado por José Sánchez Pardo, un retablista de la comarca. Se compone de un banco con relieves en las calles laterales, cuerpo de tres calles separadas por columnas, y ático, donde está la imagen de la Asunción en hornacina a manera de transparente. En una de sus calles laterales se sitúa una talla de madera de Nuestra Señora del Soto, que es de la misma época que otra existente en el camarín de la ermita.
