Description
English: Unlike his half brother, the successful realist painter François Bonvin, Léon maintained the family inn at Vaugirard, outside Paris, instead of pursuing a career as an artist. Nevertheless, he continued to paint still lifes and garden scenes in watercolors. There are no other known oil paintings by him.
