Deutsch: Die Linke Wienzeile auf der Höhe der Kettenbrücke(ngasse) im 6. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Mariahilf mit dem „Majolikahaus“ von Otto Wagner im Bildzentrum. Ganz links Haus Nr.44, Wohnhaus des Heldentenors Hermann Winkelmann (1849–1912), anschließend Haus Nr. 42, ein reich gegliedertes historistisches Wohn- und Geschäftshaus, das von 1896 bis 1897 nach Plänen von Rudolf Kmunke errichtet wurde. Im Anschluss Haus Nr. 40, auch „Majolikahaus“ bezeichnet, ein Miethaus, das von Otto Wagner 1898/1899 errichtet wurde und das Eckhaus „Köstlergasse“ mit vergoldetem secessionistischem Dekor, wiederum ein von Otto Wagner 1898/1899 errichtetes Haus und ganz rechts Haus Nr. 36, ein monumentales späthistoristisches Mietpalais, erbaut 1897 nach Plänen von Franz Ritter von Neumann. Rechts im Vordergrund die Kettenbrücke und der Naschmarkt. |
