Description
English: PeruRail's EMD GT42AC nr. 801 and 814 haul empty containers from Matarani to Kilometer 99, where they are transferred to trucks for the remainder of the distance to the Las Bambas mine. The train is just climbing the grade from Matarani towards La Joya. In the background you can see the usual coastal fog down towards the shore.
Deutsch: PeruRail's EMD GT42AC Nummer 801 und 814 ziehen einen Containerzug von Matarani zu Kilometer 99, wo die Container für den Rest des Weges zur Mine "Las Bambas" auf LKWs umgeladen werden. Der Zug erklimmt gerade die Steigung von Matarani nach La Joya. Im Hintergrund ist der übliche Küstennebel zu sehen.
