Description
English: Photoed in Jilin City, China. Near Rime Island. The fruit to the left is persimmon and the other one is Dongli (lit. frozed-pear). Dongli are usually ussurian pear being frozed until it turns black. When frozing, ice is formed inside pear's cells while phenol make it turns color. Dongli is a special food in Northeastern China.
中文:摄制于中国吉林市,雾凇岛附近。左边的水果是柿子,右边的是“冻梨”。冻梨通常是花子梨/花盖梨等在低温下冷冻直至颜色变黑造成的。冷冻时,梨细胞内会结冰,酶使其变色。
