Description
English: The P.300.S Spitlight is a device for projecting very large images (maximum width 1 kilometre) from Gobo masks on clouds or rock faces. It was designed by Gianni Andreoli in 1954-1955 and was used in the 1956 Winter Olympics. It is mounted on a lengthened Bedford 5010 lorry. In 1985, it received a Guinness entry as the world's largest projector. Here depicted outside the "Enter" museum in Solothurn, Switzerland
Deutsch: Der P.300.S Spitlight ist ein Gerät, um sehr grosse Bilder (maximale Breite 1 Kilometer) von Gobo-Masken auf Wolken oder Felswände zu projizieren. Es wurde 1954-1955 von Gianni Andreoli entwickelt und wurde für die olympischen Winterspiele 1956 verwendet. Es ist auf einen verlängerten Lastwagen Bedford 5010 montiert. 1985 erhielt es einen Eintrag im Guinness-Buch als grösster Projektor der Welt. Hier abgebildet vor dem Museum "Enter" in Solothurn, Schweiz.
