Description
English: Sport of origin of Congo-Brazzaville and Congo-Kinshasa, it is practiced only by women. This sport is born from the necessity for her to practice a sport in order to preserve their body. Mixing gymnastics, dance, song and a good dose of luck, the nzango is popular on both banks of the Congo River, in Congo-Brazzaville, in the Democratic Republic of Congo and as far as Burundi. A game invented well before independence in the north of the Republic of Congo and whose name literally means "footwork" in Lingala, according to the Congolese Federation of nzango (Feconza) of Brazzaville.
Français : Sport d'origine du Congo-Brazzaville et du Congo-Kinshasa, il n'est pratiqué que par des femmes. Ce sport est né de la nécessité pour elle de pratiquer un sport afin de préserver leur corps. Mélangeant gymnastique, danse, chants et bonne dose de chance, le nzango est populaire sur les deux rives du fleuve Congo, au Congo-Brazzaville, en République démocratique du Congo et jusqu'au Burundi. Un jeu inventé bien avant l’indépendance dans le nord de la République du Congo et dont le nom signifie littéralement "jeu de pieds" en lingala, selon la Fédération congolaise de nzango (Feconza) de Brazzaville.
