Talk:Privacy policy
![]() | We’d like to thank everyone who commented on the administrative and legal changes we recently made to our Privacy policy. We have read each of the comments, and we appreciate the time that went into reviewing the policy so closely, and providing both detailed feedback and general suggestions.
In particular, we heard two important principles in the discussion over the last 30 days:
We have collected these ideas, have passed the ones involving technical changes on to our engineers, and are closely considering them. We may be making additional edits to the policy, in order to address some of these questions and suggestions. If so, we will announce those changes to the community and follow the provided process. Thank you for providing feedback. |

Viewing personal information.[edit]
I feel Privacy Policy exist for our personal and business information privacy. The lack of concern and properly run area's which can have Privacy the way it's issued in our privacy policy's, we need to implement the known solutions so people and others can feel better no matter where they are or go.
I agree on the "open end" of this topic . listeners should be an option based on, "as needed". Raye Ann Harvey (talk) 19:10, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

I found 2 spots that are untranslatable. Could you fix this?
1.
{{Hidden |header=More on Locally Stored Data |content=
2.
{{Privacypolicy/Right | content = <!--T:30-->
misses the "arrow text" argument.
Thank you. Tân (talk) 19:32, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
- @Vinhtantran:
Done though I do have a favour to ask. It seems silly to me that we have repeated "back to top" labels to be translated and it would seem sensible to me that we convert that to a translatable template that we insert and re-utilise. Suggest we create {{back to top}}. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:23, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, it is already there. That is a task further to undertake then, though I cannot do it now. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:24, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
GDPR[edit]
I've asked in Wikimedia_Forum#GDPR, with not many answers. Therefore, I repeat the question here: Does the WMF comply to the GDPR? If so, which is the procedure for accessing the personal data stored by the WMF?. Thanks --Discasto (talk) 20:00, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
