What I seek?

• Have good crosswiki experiences that can be backed up with hard statistics such as theil index/inequality ideally bellow 0.7, if they can't, 0.75 is also acceptable. See : en:Theil index and xWikiness , Crosswiki experience will be indicator how the candidates act on other wikis especially how they act on a wiki they know nothing about, such as know nothing about local language, local rules, ethics, etc. The easiest way to gain this experience is by joining SWMT.
• Have language proficiency that may offset the need to have crosswiki experience, the reason why crosswiki experience is needed is because not everybody have the skill to understand many language, basically talent vs experience (while slightly wrong, this is how I feel about this particular case).
• Have experience in stewards related matters.

Candidates information

Bencemac

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Unimpressive matrix, mainly only edit on home wiki 84,144 edits on wikidata, 15,001 edits on hu.wp. With theil index of 0.87 (see : Bencemac xWikiness), sparsely editing other wiki, only 10 wikis have more than 10 edits. (Insufficient experience.)

• Language :

hu-N, en-2 (Insufficient knowledge to leverage the insufficient experience on crosswiki)

• Personal opinion :

No need to discuss, definitely  Oppose.

Bletilla

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Terrible matrix, mainly only edit on home wiki 9922 edits, with total edits of 12109 globally. With theil index of 0.83 (see : Bletilla xWikiness). (Insufficient experience.)

• Language :

ja-N, en-3, fr-1, ko-1, zh-1 (Sufficient knowledge to offset the crosswiki inexperience) with "But" total edits of only 12109.

• Personal opinion :

The language knowledge is worth noting, but I had to Weak oppose for this one.

BRPever

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Impressive matrix, one of the rare find this year, mainly experienced because of SWMT, with most edit is on home wiki 19274 (33%)/33% of total global edits which is 58,156 edits this means this user have theil index of 0.67. (see : BRPever xWikiness. (Experienced)

• Language :

ne-N, en-4, hi-2, dty-2, hif-1 (Sufficient knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

Maybe one of the rare find for this stewards election, not only have crosswiki experience and language knowledge BRPever also have experience dealing with meta-wiki problems. Which means BRPever have experience to deal with stewards job related matters. Definitely  Support if I have to vote.

Fitindia

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Unimpressive matrix 284,259 edits on commons, 71,660 edits on en.wp only 5 wikis have more than 10 edits, while the editcount is big this user only have theil index of 0.84. (see : Fitindia xWikiness). (Insufficient experience)

• Language :

en-3, hi-2, mr-2 (decent knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

No need to discuss, definitely  Oppose.

Jfblanc

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Impressive matrix with 35,709 edits on oc.wp, and global edits of 63,855, with theil index of 0.63. (see : Jfblanc xWikiness). (Abundant wealth of experience)

• Language :

en, oc, cs, ca, fr, es, sk, it, la (Hyperpolyglot)

• Personal opinion :

One of the best candidates based on experience and knowledge alone for crosswiki matters, despite the lack of experience in Stewards related matters, he can offset all of this alone with wealth of knowledge and experience in another matters. Definitely  Support if I have to vote.

Krd

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Unimpressive matrix with 61,457 edits on commons, with theil index of 0.81 (see : Krd xWikiness) (insufficient experience)

• Language :

de, en-3 (Insufficient knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

The answer towards the SE question is mostly dismissive and sometime contradictory, answer he gave to Camouflaged Mirage is quite glaring one, the statements implicitly says he will handle OTRS but on the q/a he says otherwise. There are also worrying matters about him not knowing the severity of LTA matters, being ignorant can be excused if he said "I will try to learn" etc. But this dismissive answer simply worrying because the legal matters that can be caused by LTA Isechika and LTA Kage. Ignoring these two LTA case or similar case to these two LTA can not be excused, because the case related to personal information and legal matters. I will definitely  Oppose if I have to vote.

Lionel Scheepmans

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Impressive matrix with 13,168 edits on fr.wikiversity.org, with theil index of 0.62 (see: Lionel Scheepmans xWikiness) (Sufficiently experienced)

• Language :

fr-N, pt-3, en-3, es-2, it-1, de-1, nl-1, bm-1, ta-1, vi-1. (Hyperpolyglot)

• Personal opinion :

Best candidate if he can get more editcounts, but I'm not going to judge him just based on editcount alone. While he do crosswiki works its mostly content related matters instead of antivandal or stewards related matters and administrative matters, which is personally fine by me. But his inexperience with Wiki term like CU OS etc, is a worrying one, but this can be assuaged since he is willing to learn and just based on personal ability alone I dare say he will learn fast and do a good job about this. What convince me that he will be a good candidate is his willingness to deal with global south related matters, its Great! Probably the only one stewards that would be willing to do this and probably will also help with outreach with global south. With other experienced stewards helping him I can bet he will be a good stewards. Definitely  Support if I have to vote.

Lofty abyss

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Slightly tilted towards Unimpressive matrix with theil index of 0.8 with most edit came from en.wp 45,813 edits (see Lofty abyss xWikiness) (Mixed feeling due close to 0.75 and less than 0.81)

• Language :

en-4, mt, it-2 (decent knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

One of the ex stewards that goes inactive and caused confusion during the Stewards Confirmation 2019, his explanation towards Trijnstel do make sense so I gave a pass, he have the experience being a stewards no record for abusing the tools afaik, so I also gave this a pass. While slightly mixed feelings remain. I will give cautionary  Weak support just from the fact he know more about LTA than most stewards candidate here.

Martin Urbanec

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Impressive matrix with 52631 (36%) edits on cs.wp, with theil index of 0.7 (see : Martin Urbanec xWikiness). (sufficient experience)

• Language :

cs, en-3 (insufficient knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

Might be a decent candidate if he's not WMF staff. Because he's a WMF staff there might be a possible conflict of interest in the future and we need to be wary of this. Other than this, this user is experienced enough to know what stewards should do, therefore I gave cautious  Weak support for this user.

MusikAnimal

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Terrible matrix, with 116549 (92%) edits came from home wiki in en.wp with theil index of 0.91 (one of the worst I've ever seen from all candidates we have) (see : MusikAnimal xWikiness). (insufficient experience)

• Language :

en-N, es-3 (insufficient knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

One of the best tech admins out there, also experienced handling Checkuser case as long it has relation to en.wp case. But the insufficient crosswiki experience and not enough language knowledge to offset this is quite a glaring matters for this candidate. Sadly has to  Oppose this one, if I vote.

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Unimpressive theil index, but this one is the weirdest one because this theil index is deceptive, 0.89 theil index is bad but need to be observed closely 341,318 edits on commons is because automated edits on commons, 34,928 edits on en.wp, 4,469 on wikidata, 3,791 on en.wikiquote, 2,260 on meta 644 on hi.wp 618 on hu.wiktionary, etc, he has more than hundred edits on quite many wikis (see : Special:CentralAuth/~riley and ~riley xWikiness) so I dare say (Sufficient experience)

• Language :

en, es-1, fr-1 (decent knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

One of the experienced part of SWMT members, and also held GS bits (while kinda inexperienced in this matters), his commitment and knowledge about the severeness of LTA matters convinced me he will become a good steward. So definitely  Support if I had to vote.

Sakretsu

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Unimpressive matrix but also because this was from Wikidata 279,217 edits consist of automated edits so but despite so, its mostly related to italian language or japanese articles related to pop culture like anime and such this make him got the 0.88 theil index which is bad (see Special:CentralAuth/Sakretsu and Sakretsu xWikiness) (Mixed feelings)

• Language :

it, en-3, ja-2 (decent knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

While jp lang knowledge is worth noting, I would give this candidate a cautionary inspection due the lack of actual crosswiki antivandals activity such as that require him to revert on language he doesn't even know. While in theory he know what stewards should do this still can't offset the real lack of experience. So I am giving this candidate Neutral leaning to support for now.

SNN95

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Quite a healthy matrix due the need to do crosswiki works with 16921 (69%) edits on homewiki with total edit of 24,654, but the amount less than 35.000 is less desirable we need more to formulate accurate experience he did crosswiki. He already at 0.62 theil index which is healthy. (see : Special:CentralAuth/SNN95 and SNN95 xWikiness) (decently experienced)

• Language :

en, ms (insufficient knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

Based on skill alone this candidate maybe slightly lacking but I guess I can give a hard pass for this. There are another matter quite problematic for this user, as we can see on his own home wiki userpage (see this page) we can see unfree image there being misused, that fair use licensing should be used strictly to describe the actual article, and not for userpages. There are another quite glaring and worrying matter about this candidate, we can see this part of the word "there some parts of feature I can't get access to install into all Malay Wikimedia related projects, that only high tier admin can.", and "I am also want to help any small Malay Wikimedia-related projects that ditch by old community. Me and my other Wikimedia Community User Group Malaysia's members want to revive this small projects", from the get go this candidate already mistaking what a steward should do. Now lets recount, this candidate do have xwiki experience, don't have steward related experience, don't have crosswiki antivandal experience, don't know what is the actual job of stewards. Just this alone already convince me he is a bad candidate for a steward. Definitely  Oppose this candidate, if I had to vote.

Sotiale

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Impressive matrix of 0.61 theil index, with 22986 (32%) edits on ko.wikisource quite experienced doing crosswiki works related to contents (see : Sotiale xWikiness) (sufficient experience)

• Language :

ko-N, en-2, ja-2(reading), ja-1(writing), bi-1, tpi-0.5, eo-1 (healthy knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

While slightly mix up with other korean stewards such as revi, I would give benefit of the doubt and  Support this candidate.

Tks4Fish

• Matrix/Theil index/crossactivity :

Another one which gave me a mixed feelings because theil index is inbetween 0.75-0.8 which is 0.78, with global edit is 22,538 and 17281 (77%) edits from pt.wp. (mixed feelings)

• Language :

pt-N, en-4, es-2, it-2 (healthy knowledge)

• Personal opinion :

I know this candidate particularly well due to his Checkuser works, he know LTA matters and did it silently behind the scene, without any flair quite unlike any SWMT members I know. I definitely gave  Support for this candidate if I have to vote.
