Sockpuppetry accusations levelled against Geo Swan[edit]

I started contributing to the Wikipedia in the fall of 2004. I made half a dozen or a dozen edits prior to creating en:User:Geo Swan - using an IP address. I can't remember those edits, or how many days passed between them, and creating en:User:Geo Swan. I've never used any IP addresses since then, or any other userids.

But I have been accused of using sockpuppets, or using sockpuppets, multiple times.

Sockpuppetry accusations are serious. And, in my opinion, all the accusations against me were trivial, and those making them failed to take seriously the nature of the accusation they were making.

2005[edit]

The first person to accuse me of sockpuppetry, did so regularly, but they never initiated an SPI. The basis of the accusation? I'm not sure. It seems like it might have been simply that the other ID and I both disagreed with her, over different issues in the en:Paul Bremer article. Ironically, as her ability to AGF, offer coherent arguments, make positive contributions, eroded, she started to use sockpuppetry herself - not really hiding that she was using multiple IDs.
