Portuguese Wikipedia[edit]

Besides all default user rights, Portuguese Wikipedia has also Confirmado (Confirmed), Eliminador (Deleter) and Editor de interface (Interface editor).

  • Autoreviewer: This group has all default permissions. In 2012, was created a third level of protection that allows only autoreviewers, deleters, and sysops to edit. Having this right is required to propose featured articles.
  • Rollbacker: Has all default permissions. There are a few circumstances on which rollbackers were given the ability to block: blocked users must be non-confirmed, making blatant vandalism and must be blocked for no more than 24 hours. Vote page
  • Confirmed: Provides same permissions that 'autoconfirmed' does. Initially (discussion) thought to be used by bots to avoid CAPTCHA, it was approved (discussion) the possibility of giving it also to 'human' accounts. Portuguese Wikipedia has enabled CAPCTHA on emergency mode since 2008, that makes every non-confirmed accounts to be forced to pass through CAPTCHA test to make all edits. Additionally, it is required 10 edits and four days of registration for an account to be autoconfirmed.
  • Deleter: Deleters are users than can participate on any deletion process. They can restore content and see deleted revisions. Users must meet the following criteria before applying: have more than 1.000 edits on mainspace, have participated on discussions or procedures related with deletion. User right is granted by bureaucrats and decided by consensus between community.
  • Interface editor: Users are given the ability to edit pages on MediaWiki namespace. Their actions are restricted to fix or improve codes. They can't, for example, add a link at spam blacklist, but they can fix any mistake on its code.
  • Bureaucrat: It is not required to be a sysop to become a bureaucrat. Every user may apply if achieve following criteria: Have more than 2.000 edits on mainspace, no block history in six months and more than six months of registration. Only bureaucrats and sysops can move user pages (move-rootuserpages). Besides all other rights, bureaucrats can also add and remove autorreviewer rights.
  • Oversight: Portuguese Wikipedia had its first local oversighters in March 2013.

  • Sysops: Can add and remove 'bot' rights.

Wikidata[edit]

  • Property creator: This is required to create properties that are used in statements. Administrators can also create properties.
