Hi, I'm Lesley and I hate writing about myself.

I have a wide ranging background across science (particularly chemistry), computing (particularly Linux and free software), the humanities (particularly philosophy), and the social sciences (particularly sociology and gender studies), but most things interest me.

Recently I have been most passionate about gendered issues and representation, feminism and intersectionality, and the amplification of marginalised voices and recovery of suppressed histories. As such, I work on pages about women and women's organisations, both social and political, particularly those from Glasgow, Scotland, as that's where I'm currently based.

In my copious free time, I also enjoy travelling, learning languages, cooking, photography and fencing.

You can find my images on the Commons, at Flickr and on Instagram.
