About me
Hi! My name is Isabel Zapico and I am from Asturias, a region in the north of Spain. I am currently based in Madrid, where I have lived since 2000.
I became a Wikipedia editor in June 2019. You can learn more about my contributions at my volunteer userpage, Zapipedia. I also accompany newcomers as a Mentor and a tutor in eswiki.
I am also committed to fighting the gendergap with my colleagues of Wikiesfera UG. I have coordinated some activities and edit-a-thons, and attended a few community events.
My work
I joined the Wikimedia Foundation at the end of 2021 as a Product Ambassador for the Spanish-speaking communities. I support Growth, Web and Campaigns teams in several projects.
