  • &Y  Support: Native speakers of Karachay-Balkar have the competency and willingness to contribute to this project in the long-term. Hence the Karachay-Balkar language deserves to be given the opportunity and priviledge to have its own language edition of Wikipedia along with the existing Turkic languages such as Karakalpak, Bashkir, Tatar and so on.   • &Y  Strong support: I am impressed with the test project at Incubator (there are large and wikified articles) and with the rapid success of MediaWiki localization. I know some bits of the language and see that the articles at Incubator are in good modern days Karachay spelling used for publishing books and media. As a smaller Wikipedias activist, I know how important active editors are for a new Wikipedia: active editors are what the Karachay-Balkar project already has.
