I'm happy about wikipedia exist (don't know so much about the wikimedia project/foundation) and I have a couple of question about this fund rising..
1) The idea of selling wikimedia gadjets is intelligent (for example I prefer to help a project with a small gadjet in change instead of giving "charity" 'cause I prefer an exchange): why only 20% on Wikipedia merchandise at Cafe Press? (I don't know if Cafe Press is a "friendly" organization)
2) Why any suggestion about giving gadjets at a minor price to organizations all over the world that they can sell to the people??? (what about self organized organization?)
That's all. Sorry, I know thant I should get more information about the wikimedia...
