www.wikibooks.org template/temp is a temporary staging area for proposing and testing changes to www.wikibooks.org template. Unlike the live template, it is unprotected. To propose a change or update:
  1. Edit www.wikibooks.org template/temp. It's a pure HTML page, so you can't use any wiki syntax.
  2. Test your changes using the "Preview HTML" link in the drop down menu next to the search bar.
  3. If people like your changes, an admin can copy and paste from www.wikibooks.org template/temp to www.wikibooks.org template. The new version will then be visible to the public at http://www.wikibooks.org/.
  4. To get the attention of a Meta sysop, you can place a notice at Talk:www.wikibooks.org template or Meta:Requests for help from a sysop.

Administrators: Always make your changes to www.wikibooks.org template/temp before copying them to www.wikibooks.org template, to keep the two pages in sync (see current differences).
