Abuse log visibility restrictions
Blocks permanently prevent the ability to view the abuse log. Whenever a user tries to access the abuse log while blocked, they will get an error that says that you are blocked; you will need to wait until the block expires before you can view the abuse log.
Common causes of abuse log prevention
The most common causes of abuse log prevention are:
- Your email address has not been confirmed. You must confirm your email address before you can view the abuse log. Please set and validate your email address through your user preferences.
- You are not logged in. If you have an account, log in to view the abuse log.
- Your account or IP address is blocked from editing. To view the abuse log, request an unblock by sending a request to administrators.
An error message is displayed, telling the user the they need to log in, confirm their email address, or the user is blocked from editing. To report this error, contact an administrator.
