The affiliation requirements for Wikimedia User Groups include annual renewal based on the annual activities report submitted by the group.
In it’s first year activities report the Tec de Monterey group has continued to focus on developing it’s education program across 3 college campuses (Ciudad de México, Santa Fe and Estado de México) involving more than 1000 student and teacher participants who created or significantly expanded nearly 400 articles on the Spanish Wikipedia and uploaded over 6,000 photographs and other media along with other outcomes shared.
In addition to sharing basic highlights the report is full of descriptive detail and links along with detailed performance metrics which are commendable.
The current status and work performed by Tec de Monterey Wiki Learning have been reviewed by the Affiliations Committee;
They have fulfilled the minimum requirements to retain their status as a Wikimedia User Group;
The Affiliations Committee has determined that the Wikimedia User Group satisfies the requirements for renewal of its status as an affiliate.
Therefore be it resolved that the Wikimedia User Group status of Tec de Monterey Wiki Learning is hereby renewed for an additional one-year term through March 19, 2017.
