Africa Growth Pilot/Online self-paced course
This page describes phase two of the Africa Growth Pilot experimental program by the Wikimedia Foundation.
Goal
[edit]The Community Development team has created a comprehensive online course introducing complete newbies to the Wikimedia ecosystem, and specifically to the core policies of English Wikipedia, with the aim of preparing course graduates to edit English Wikipedia competently and confidently.
The course
[edit]The course, titled "Wikimedia Core Curriculum", is hosted on the WikiLearn platform, is entirely self-paced, including computer-graded comprehension questions, and is accessible to anyone with a Wikimedia account at any time ("open enrollment").

The timeline

Curriculum review
