- Abstract (up to 300 words to describe your proposal)
Toni Sant and Neville Borg will present their experiences working on Malta's first Wikipedian-in-Residence partnership with the Valletta Design Cluster. The main challenge involved running the planned activities during pandemic restrictions. In some cases, these seem to have benefited the planning while in other cases the restrictions have held back the development of certain aims targeted by the WiR plans. The plans had a focus on ramping up the writing of new articles on the Maltese-language and the translation of the Mediawiki interface. The presentation will focus on these later points as part of what has been achieved from the activities of Malta's first Wikipedian-in-Residence.
