Autism is a neurological growth disorder that begins in infancy and hinders a person’s ability to communicate and learn. It occupies a broad spectrum ranging from severe to mild. Autism has been a growing concern since the past decade. The rate of autistic children is increasing day by day. With the increase in awareness, there has been a rise in the number of various mobile applications on autistic research. However, we have found that most of the mobile apps in dealing with the deeper issues of autism ignore the basic ones. Since the fundamental problem of autistic children is interaction, our paper deals with a mobile app that tries to overcome this difficulty. The app has five crucial operational buttons that fulfil the essential requirements of a school going autistic child. The first one says good morning, the second is for lunch, the third is for asking permission to go to the toilet and the fourth says goodbye. The fifth button is for emergency call to a designated phone number. This paper also surveys the use of such a mobile app by the school going autistic children in order to understand the level of their compatibility with gadgets. The results can be extensively used for further development in autistic research.
