Types of events[edit]
- Urban photo scavenger hunt, usually taking place over one day.
- Photo scavenger hunt in cooperation with a museum, usually taking place over an extended period, such as one month.
- Commons:Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments, an outside photo contest with a clear scope and many objects
- A photography event which is not structured as a contest.
- More informal events
- In practice, a number of photography events have been more informal than the above models would suggest, and there are many variations that can be chosen to best suite local circumstances.
