merging and reorganisation

Some categories are currently being merged there to use the new translation system based on language code suffixes. However any pages are still not translable with this system as they have not been prepared for this. In addition cleaning up the categories (and fixing the many ones that are linked incoherently will take time. This is a large task that will require maintenance, as the content of Meta-Wiki is very difficult to find and navigate. I've worked a lot to improve this for the most important (and active) categories. Help is still needed (not just for translating but more generally for organizing the content). A priori, the categories currently translated with the languae code suffixes are the best categorized, and this has also helped a lot organizing the translations without mixing everything in unmaintainable collections and with a correct view of the content of Meta(Wiki in each language.

Don't desesperate, things are progressing and we can see that by the increased contributions to Meta-Wiki and many more translations that are now getting available to meet the goal of Meta-Wiki which is to coordinate the work across all wikis in all linguistic editions and have non-English users also being heard when they want to discuss issues in their languages. Simply because it is now easier and faster to translate things and navigate in them everywhere they are available, without loosing important infos still not translated from English. verdy_p (talk) 14:46, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
