Vorige week is op IRC duidelijk gemaakt dat de samenwerking met Kennisnet niets van doen heeft met de Nederlandse wiki-gemeenschap. Kennisnet hoort dan ook niet in de categorie nl.wikimedia te vallen. (translation: Last week it was made clear on IRC that the cooperation with Kennisnet has nothing to do with the Dutch wiki-community. The discussion on IRC can be interpreted in a different way; Kennisnet has no particular tie with the nl.wikipedia which is correct, it does however work with the Foundation and by inference also with the nl.wikimedia. GerardM 06:07, 2 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Op IRC werd aangegeven dat de samenwerking met Kennisnet niets te maken had met de Nederlandse gemeenschap. In dat verband is gezegd dat GerardM, wanneer hij onderhandelt met Kennisnet, hij dit doet namens de Foundation, en niet namens enige andere organisatie of gemeenschap. Hoe kan er een verband zijn tussen Kennisnet en en Wikimedia NL, als dat zo is? Misschien snap ik het gewoon niet, kan een van jullie uitleggen wat nu precies het verband is tussen Kennisnet en Wikimedia NL? It is quite simple, there is no wikimedia.nl and therefore I cannot represent it. I do not speak for the wikiPedia.nl community because I do not really spend my time there. The main beneficiary of the cooperation with Kennisnet is the Foundation and the Dutch educational system. I am happy with the achievements so far and I am sure the future will be bright. When people are interested in Kennisnet, we have this open invitation to come on the last tuesday of the month so it is possible for individual wikimedians to learn first hand what this cooperation is about. hoi fruggo, er zijn een aantal wikianen (al meer dan 10 dacht ik) bij kennisnet geweest, bij diverse gelegenheden. de laatste (en de komende keer) betreft dat een brainstorm-sessie (over van alles en nog wat, oa samenwerking, wiki's iha -ook buiten wikimedia- etc). gerardm is de initiatiefnemer geweest voor het leggen van contact met kennisnet, kennisnet is een zeer geïnteresseerde organisatie gebleken, die op allerlei gebieden wil en kan samenwerken. er is een nieuwe brainstormsessie gepland, zie ook nl:Wikipedia:Wikipedia_en_Kennisnet#Dinsdag_27_september. groetjes, oscar 00:21, 13 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
