What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?

Description - This is a survey for contributors and those who might like to begin contributing that are based in Mexico, across all Wikimedia projects. Wikimedia Mexico wants to gain a better understanding of what the Wikimedia movement in Mexico looks like so we can allocate our resources and plan future projects that support potential and existing users.

Hi @DerHexer, @Tania Solá (WMMX) and I have coordinated on the survey and I send my approval to proceed when the time comes (above dates are 30 May to 12 June) :)

Tania, you may want to change the banner message to make sure it says it's from Wikimedia Mexico as that could encourage people to participate since it's specific to them.

For banner coverage, since this is a survey of only editors in Mexico I think it would be okay to do 100% on eswiki in Mexico to get the amount of needed data (maybe 90% if you want a random sample). I leave it up to you all for coverage on other wikis, but you can check the country stats for different wikis here (note: they are not mutually exclusive as far as I know, so some could be editors participating on multiple wikis) - TAndic (WMF) (talk) 09:09, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
