Paragraph-level cherry-picking for diffs (Community Wishlist/W35)

Description
I often find myself needing a way to pick-and-choose between two versions of an article, usually when I only want to undo part of an edit. I think an interface that looks and behaves like the current mw:Help:Edit conflict page would help reduce the number of reverts, by letting users revert only part of an edit they disagree with.
Assuming you're familiar with git, cherry-picking is pretty close to what I'm looking for.
