NoN Outside the scope of Community Tech

  • Problem: Lives
  • Who would benefit: The visitors because they have a new way to follow the news. The editors because they don't need to edit the page for a new comment. All people because they don't have to reload the page to view a new comment.
  • Proposed solution: Create an extension, which will be associated with a page type, in the form of a time bar, where will be indicated the time, and a small logo (if specified) of what happened, with right, the comment, and the edit/history buttons.
  • More comments: The anniversary of Wikinews is being celebrated very soon. The deployment of the extension would be a plus.

I like this idea.. While Wikinews generally has been rather 'weak' in terms of traction, what we have seen, is that it and even more so Wikipedia, tend to be very popular in vetting and summarising news during or shortly after the event. I think a live feed option, where we can keep track of verified and non-verified information/retractions etc can be a worthy and interesting addition that could open up new possibilities in untapped areas. —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 12:37, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Si tel est le cas, non, ce n'est pas impossible à mettre en œuvre. Cependant, c'est un très grand souhait L’équipe prend généralement beaucoup de temps et prend beaucoup de ressources. Nous avons tendance à entreprendre des projets plus modestes, qui peuvent être achevés en quelques mois. Pour cette raison, nous l’avons marqué comme étant au-delà de la portée.
