Discussion
- @AstatineEnjoyer: There already are push notifications in the Wikipedia App for both Android and iOS. You can configure them in the Notifications section of your preferences. Can you explain what additional notications you would desire, or how you would want them changed exactly ? —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 11:00, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- I don't want to speak for AE, but I am guessing they are talking about the limitations shown here. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 13:29, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- AstatineEnjoyer has confirmed on my talk page that this is indeed what they were referring to. Best, — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Barkeep49 (talk) 16:23, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- It may be helpful to more specifically define which parts of w:en:WP:THEYCANTHEARYOU you're referring to AstatineEnjoyer (and thank you Barkeep49 for the clarification above) — for the bot, a selection of apparently related phab tasks are: T312196, T291481 (task marked resolved, still listed on wiki page) & T274404 (task marked resolved, still listed on wiki page) ~TheresNoTime-WMF (talk) 16:34, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
Alright. I might just stop pushing, as I was unaware of the push notifs for mobile and now I feel dumb. AstatineEnjoyer (talk) 17:02, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Since we learned that this solution already exists, I'm archiving this proposal. Thank you for participating in the survey. HMonroy (WMF) (talk) 22:16, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
