Short description

Cinque Terre National Park is a famous area in northern Italy, known for the beauty of the landscape and for the special relationship between man and enviroment. This is also why it is a critical area: the integrity of the hills depends on the maintenance of the terracings, which requires constant work. In recent years the lack of such maintenance cause the crisis, with many terraces falling apart.
