What, who and why - AffCom's role in the Wikimedia ecosystem.[edit]
Abstract/description[edit]
As the Wikimedia movement develops ambitious new strategies for the coming decade, the Affiliations Committee (AffCom) is evolving too. As well as recognition of new affiliates, mediating conflicts and providing advice, this important little global committee is extending its work into helping affiliates build their own capacities as well as providing them with a range of resources. They are also looking for new recruits, particularly in the ESEAP region.
