Things learned at the conference

• Unity and understanding of policy are important. We are aware that some groups in the region are in conflict, and the Wikimedia Foundation Universal Code of Conduct might be useful in bringing them together.
• Requesting financial support from the Wikimedia Foundation to carry out its operations should be transparent and effective in the long term.
• One interesting part of the conference was that participants from Vietnam acted as translators from the language used at the event (English) into their native language. It is believed that this will be beneficial for his community to understand well.
• Currently, most members of the Thai language community only know about Wikidata for adding interlanguage links. It may take time to learn more about other uses in this project.

Things the participant contributed or participated in or since the conference

• I have been involved in planning various activities and strategies to drive the growth of the Thai language community. Including plans to prepare and deliver prizes to participants in various Wikimedia Thailand activities.
• I received a certificate from a Filipino friend for helping organize Wiki Loves Earth 2023 in the Philippines and Wiki Loves Food 2023 in the Philippines.
• I won an award WikiCelebrate from this meeting. I feel very grateful and honored.

Plans after the conference (from what was learned or contributed in the conference)

• I plan for various activities in the community, emphasizing a balance between quality and quantity. I believe that if one thing is neglected it will not be effective.
• Based on discussions with Binsar Sinaga and Irvin Parco, I offered to help in educational activities with the Timor-Leste and Philippine communities.
• I am also interested in writing nursing and public health articles for the Wikipedia and Wikibooks projects. Because it is considered a useful article and is consistent with the current COVID-19 outbreak situation.
• I will continue to help the community extensively with each project. And believe that it will grow in a good way according to the spirit of the Wikimedia Foundation.

Transportation

The transfer service from the airport to the accommodation was convenient and well planned. As was the case at the ESEAP Conference 2018 in Bali, Indonesia.

Accommodation

As for the accommodation, I want it to be separate. Because there may be loud noises from your roommate's snoring. Or each person's bedtime is not the same time. Cause insomnia. As a result, the meeting the next day was ineffective. Or in some cases, there is a risk of contracting infectious diseases.

Hospitality

Every ESEAP member I met was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Thank you to the Wikimedia Malaysia team for giving us a great experience.
