Plans after the conference

1.Broaden the Scope of the Wikimedian Interviews

Continue to progress the interviews to find as many female wiki users as possible.

In addition, the data collected from the previous interviews will continue to be analysed in depth to identify more specific challenges and needs faced by female Wikipedians.

2.Explore Forms of Participatory Media Movement

Organize events like edit-a-thons and academic seminars to attract female users to participate in Wikimedia editing and contributions.

Also, collaborate with local educational institutions. We will try to suggest them to set up a mentorship system to provide guidance and support to new female users.

3.Integrate Subcultural Elements into Activities

To address the interests of women in mainland China, we can consider combining subcultural elements such as fandom culture and two-dimensional culture into content creation and promotion.

This can enhance the attention and involvement of female users in Wikimedia.

4.Enhance Visibility and Community Support

Highlight the achievements of female contributors within Wikimedia projects to boost their visibility.

Establish supportive communities and networks for women, offering technical assistance and encouragement.

5.Seek External Cooperation and Support

Explore opportunities for collaboration with relevant departments, institutions, or businesses to provide additional support and convenience for female Wikipedians.

This is a conference that maximizes the feeling of passion and strength for Wikimedia among Wikimedians in the ESEAP region.

The conference is conducive to increasing communication among Wikimedians, strengthening the cohesion of the Wikimedia community, and enhancing collaboration and sharing among different linguistic and geographic communities.
