Kopisanangan! This is my very first time attending such a large conference with many diverse attendees from around the world. I've got so many amazing experiences during the conference. I would love to share my thoughts on the Wikimedia ESEAP Conference 2024 in this report.

Roles

As a self-funded participant in the Wikimedia ESEAP Conference 2024, my role involved attending the conference sessions and engaging with the topics discussed. I took the opportunity to learn from the sessions and connect with fellow participants whenever possible.

Things learned during the conference

ESEAP Conference was such a great experience as it gave exposure and opportunities in Wikimedia to all participants. From this conference, I have gain a lot of knowledge.

• I learned about other wiki friends' journeys from all over the world with their own work.
• Wiki Kent Club able to introduce our unique Kadazandusun language to the worldwide stage and promote it to people all over the world.
• I had the opportunity to exchange ideas with people from all over the world about how to work on our Wiki project.
• I have studied and improved my fundamental editing and writing skills in Wikimedia.
