On July 15th 2023, the Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group in collaboration with the Mokna NGO held WikiCamp Istog. This activity brought together elementary school students from Istog and the Kosovo diaspora for a day of adventure and learning.

Supported by the Istog Municipality, the students went on a hiking trip through Istog's landscapes. They captured the beauty of the city, nature, and vibrant flowers through their lenses, taking over 100 remarkable pictures.

Among other activities, students contributed to Wikimedia Commons in order to be free-accessible to a global audience from this area. Through this experience, they learned about the Wikimedia world and the power of their contributions to the digital community.

The WikiCamp in Istog fostered not only a love for nature but also provided valuable insights into collaborative knowledge sharing. It was a memorable day that left a lasting impact on the participants and showcased the dedication of the organizers and the support from the Istog community.
