Introduction

Wikimedia Gombe Network in collaboration with Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Gombe Chapter, and the Federacion Internacional De Abogadas, Gombe Chapter, is embarking on capacity building for women professionals in Gombe State as part of series of activities celebrating the International Women's Day 2024 to "Inspiring Inclusivity in the Wikimedia Movement" and ensure adequate and equal representation of women on Wikimedia projects through the Wikipedia Needs More Women campaign! This project aims to foster women's inclusion in northern Nigeria, empowering women to become editors and tell their own stories through the documentation of women changemakers in their respective fields of endeavor to enhance their visibility.
